Week 6 Class

Today we had our presentation,


Generally we need to start developing the visual style of the game. This could be cards, a booklet, costumes (could be even just a cardboard mask?) to bring narrative further into the main game.


Interim Presentation Feedback 
  • ·      Call it a ‘Memory Maze’- is much clearer how the came is played and helps greatly with initial understanding.
  • ·      Loved the icebreaker. How might it be even further linked into the gameplay?
  • ·      How might bystanders be engaged further? Kids and parents. Could kids run in and be sea turtles/birds/wind when players go off route?
  • ·      Augmented reality is maybe not feasible for the scale of this project and also KCC parents may not have/want their kids on phones.
  • ·      Plastic bags aren’t predictable; they blow in the wind and go off course. Could the maze possibly change at some point in the game? The route flipped? Or rotated?
